Job description
Atik Cameras are looking for a talented software engineer to develop and support our image acquisition and processing software. This software will be used in the life science and astronomy fields, as well as supporting OEM integration of our cameras. It is also expected that there’ll be opportunities to develop firmware targeted for microcontrollers embedded within the cameras.
Job requirements
Applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in coding fast and efficient Windows applications in both the C++ and .NET languages. Low-level coding and an understanding of microcontroller programming and circuit design would be beneficial, as would experience of FPGA design and the Xilinx / Vivado development suites. Experience with developing on Mac and Linux machines would be desirable, but not essential. Likewise, knowledge of Labview, micromanager or other image processing applications would also be useful. The successful candidate must have a degree level qualification or equivalent experience and be enthusiastic about working as part of a small team and interacting with astronomers worldwide.

They are also marketed directly to OEM customers, historically under the Artemis CCD Camera brand. Atik Cameras is based in the city of Norwich, in England, where our cameras are designed and developed. Most of the equipment is made in our dedicated factory in Lisbon, Portugal.
