Events are back

After two years, we’re absolutely thrilled that live events are back up and running, and last week we were able to attend two of the best.

Vision,  5th – 7th October 2021

As this show specialises in machine vision, it was an amazing opportunity to showcase our brand new TE-77 imaging solution.
Unfortunately it wasn’t the smooth start that we had planned, as our display and promotional materials were held up in customs. What followed was incredible Atik Cameras teamwork, with the help of dm-PRINTHOUSE providing brochures and Sign Services Stuttgart providing signage. By mid-afternoon we were kitted out and raring to go, for what turned out to be an amazing trade show. What an excellent way to kick off live events. Here are a few pictures of the team working hard, and playing even harder. LAS at Kelling Heath, 9th October 2021

For astronomers this long awaited event did not disappoint. It was great to see so many familiar faces as well as a few new ones. Our showstopper for this event was the Apx60, with a small teaser of what to expect next in the Apx series. The daytime weather couldn’t have been better. The evenings were cloudy, but our very own astrophotographer Vince Bygrave achieved this clear image of M31 in just 10 minutes of 30 sec exposures with the super fast ACIS 7.1 and the Atik Infinity software. Thank you to LAS for another great event, and the friendly astro community for their warm welcome.
