COVID-19 & Brexit Update

As the world continues to tackle the COVID pandemic, alongside adapting to the UK’s departure from the EU, we wanted to provide you with an update regarding our current business situation.

With our facilities based in the UK and Portugal, we have of course been adapting to the ever changing landscape as countries around the world experience varying levels of restrictions. Whilst both countries are currently in lockdown, we have been able to adapt and keep the business fully operational through a combination of remote working and utilisation of the space in each facility. These changes have enabled us to maintain COVID-safe working conditions for all staff who need to be on site.

Despite this, we have experienced some delays in development and production, partly because of these challenges, but more as a result of the strain on the global supply chain. We have also been working hard to support organisations who utilise our cameras in PCR systems, which are the gold standard method for COVID testing. We continue to do all we can to reduce any delays and will aim to provide updates where ever possible.

From a Brexit perspective, we are fortunate to have facilities both in the UK and in the EU. To help reduce any customs implications or delays in shipping, we will be looking to ship all goods from our Lisbon facility, commencing January 2021. There will be no changes to your channels of communication, so please continue to get in touch with your normal points of contact, or via our website contact form.
