An update on our repairs service

Whilst we see our service offering as one of our strengths, the pandemic has meant that we have not been able to achieve the same quick turnaround times that we aspire to. With that in mind, we wanted to provide you with an update on the current situation.

As you may know, our production and repair facilities are in Portugal, where the virus has hit particularly hard and the country remains in lockdown with schools closed. Although we have maintained stringent COVID protocols at all our facilities, the nationwide restrictions have made it very difficult for us to have the team fully operational due to essential childcare and family needs. This has then been compounded by some temporary added difficulties with shipping, as a result of the UKs exit from the EU. Whilst we continue to work hard to mitigate any impact, it has meant that we have been unable to process repairs as quickly as normal.

However… good news is on the horizon. We are working hard to process the repairs we currently have in house; once that work is complete, we will be getting in touch with those waiting to send their cameras back in for service/repair. Don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten anyone and will contact you as soon as possible to arrange your return.

Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via our website and we’ll do our best to help. We are hugely grateful for your patience at the moment and look forward to helping you all as soon as possible.

Thank you,

The Technical Support Team
